Background[]
The routine is set in a stage with a black floor. There are multiple multicoloured shapes on the walls of the stage. There are cutouts of various locations behind the dancers which get replaced multiple times throughout the routine. Behind the dancers are four male backup dancers in formal attire.
At the beginning of the routine, the cutout shows a town square with two buildings on each side and one building in the centre. The building on the left appears to be a shop and has an image of a ring of keys along with the word "KEYS" displayed on its window. The building in the centre resembles an apartment building. The building on the right has the words "OLD ENGLISH" on its window. There is a clothesline connected between the yellow and red buildings with several shirts and pants hanging on it.
During the lyric "Ev'rything today makes yesterday slow", the town square cutout is split apart and the next cutout is moved in. A lamppost also rises from the ground. The cutout consists of a street, with two buildings in the foreground and several buildings in the background.
At the lyric "And that tango dance they wouldn't allow", the lamppost is lowered into the ground, the street cutout is separated apart, and the next cutout is moved in. It shows multiple white lights and pink billboards showing women in various poses.
During the lyric "Ev'rything today is starting to go", the cutout is split apart and the next cutout is moved in. The cutout shows a grand staircase with four pillars surrounding it. There are clouds on each side of the cutout. A large chandelier hangs above the staircase.
