Appearance of the Dancer[]
The dancer is Lyle, a male animated crocodile. His appearance is almost identical to that of the film and he wears a red bandana and a maroon bracelet on his left hand replacing the iconic glove.
Background[]
The routine takes place on a rooftop like in the movie. It pans closer when Gold Move 2 is done. Lyle sings the most of the time like in the movie. "JUST DANCE THEATRE" can be seen behind him at one point of the song referencing the stage like routines take place and another one like in the movie with the words "sing, sing, sing".

- Top of the World is the second song by Shawn Mendes in the series.
- Top of the World was the only new map in the main track list of Just Dance 2023 Edition not to be revealed through a preview gameplay on Just Dance’s YouTube channel.
- The preview was ultimately uploaded on November 23, 2022, the day after both the release of the game and the release of the film on digital.
- On September 30, 2022, before the preview gameplay was uploaded to YouTube, Just Dance’s official TikTok account uploaded a snippet of Lyle dancing to the song and encouraged followers to replicate his moves as part of the official announcement of the song.[2]
- However, none of the moves seen in the TikTok are performed in the final routine, as the reel served as promotional material for the movie.
- The inclusion of Top of the World in Just Dance 2023 Edition was announced through a mail from Ubisoft’s updates address.[3]
- The Italian version of said mail has the following typos[4]:
- In the first sentence of the first paragraph, the Saxon genitive in "Sony Pictures’ Lyle, Lyle Crocodile" is left unchanged despite Italian not having the Saxon genitive.
- "Sarà disponibile" is misspelled as "tsarà disponibile".
- "20 novembre" is misspelled as "200 novembre".
- "Porta a casa tua l’avventura di Natale" is misspelled as "Pora a casa tua l’avventura di Batale".
- "Il Talento di Mr. Crocodile" (the Italian title of the movie) is misspelled as "Il Talento di Mr. Crocodilethe" at the end of the second paragraph.
- The Italian version of said mail has the following typos[4]:
- Top of the World was not available on the earliest build of Just Dance 2023 Edition. It was added through a server update released on November 21, 2022.
- In the first public builds of Just Dance 2023 Edition, the text "Lyle, Lyle Crocodile" was displayed in front of a black screen, which then faded to the intro and the title card simply reading "Top of the World". On an unknown date, however, the routine was updated to remove the black screen and display "Lyle, Lyle Crocodile" under "Top of the World".
- In 舞力无限, the title card is based on the original format; however, the Chinese title of Lyle, Lyle Crocodile is displayed instead of the English one.
