Fiesta Latina music pack promotion

This year we got the Fiesta Latina song pack, featuring three new songs by Colombian artists.

Hello everyone! It is now Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15. This means we will be highlighting the Hispanic and Latin American artists and characters in the game! Because this month falls right in the peak of previews season, we do not have a complete list of artists to highlight yet so we will also be showcasing Just Dance 2025 Edition, as several of those artists missed the cutoff last year. We are also accepting fanart and mashups from the community! Music recommendations will also be happening in an upcoming thread. This blog will be part one, focusing on Just Dance 2025 Edition and the Just Dance 2026 Edition artists we know so far, and part two will highlight additional artists as well as all of the fanart, mashups, and music recommendations we received.

YOUR FANART HERE[]

We are also accepting fanart and mashups to feature in part two! Please check the linked post for more details and submit any entries you have there! We will also be doing music recommendations, keep an eye out for that.

Fiesta Latina[]

Last April, we got the Fiesta Latina song pack, a pack of six songs including three new songs by Colombian artists. These songs were La Bachata by Manuel Turizo, Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido by Karol G, and Soltera by Shakira. Also bundled in the pack are Bailando by Enrique Iglesias ft. Descemer Bueno and Gente de Zona (from Just Dance 2015), Despacito by Luis Fonsi ft. Daddy Yankee (from Just Dance 2018), and Provenza by Karol G (from Season 1: Lover Coaster), which were already on the service. For the new songs, the coaches were named after prominent Latin American community members.

Just Dance 2026 Edition[]

Since we are still in the reveals process we do not have a complete list of artists yet. We will add any additional artists that are revealed in part two.

Bruno Mars[]

Bruno Mars makes his sixth appearance this year with the smash hit Apt. He is of mixed Hawaiian, Puerto Rican, Ashkenazi Jewish, Spanish, and Filipino descent.

Melanie Martinez[]

Melanie Martinez, who is of Dominican and Puerto Rican descent, made her long-awaited series debut last year with Play Date, after our blog was published. She returns this year with Cry Baby.

METAMAMI[]

Panamanian singer METAMAMI makes her series debut this year with Chichika.

Patrick Hernandez[]

Patrick Hernandez makes his series debut this year with Born to Be Alive (Reborn Version), a re-recording of his 1979 disco hit. Hernandez is of Spanish and Italian descent.

Ritchie Valens / Los Lobos[]

This year we got La Bamba, a Mexican folk song that was later adapted into a hit rock-and-roll song by singer Ritchie Valens. The song would later be covered by Los Lobos for the Ritchie Valens biopic, becoming the fourth non-English language song to reach number one in the States. A cover by Ubisoft credited to The Sunlight Shakers is used in-game and the coaches from Mi Gente lo Siente return.

Just Dance 2025 Edition[]

Because of the timing last year, we got several artists who just missed the cutoff. We also got a whole Fiesta Latina song pack last year, which we mentioned above. Here are all the Hispanic and Latin American artists who appeared on Just Dance 2025 Edition, excluding those confirmed to be on Just Dance 2026 Edition:

Christell[]

Christell made her debut last year with the viral song Dubidubidu (Chipi Chipi Chapa Chapa). She is the first Chilean artist to appear in the series, a fact that made headlines in Chile after Christell reacted to the announcement on TikTok. The routine features Kitta, who previously appeared as the coach for Kulikitaka, another viral song.

Don Elektron and Gotopo[]

Mexican producer Don Elektron and Afro-Indigenous-Venezuelan singer and producer Gotopo made their series debut last year with Mi Gente lo Siente. The coaches would later return in La Bamba.

Jerry Lopez[]

Singer Jerry Lopez makes his series debut as the uncredited vocalist for SpongeBob’s Birthday.

Karol G[]

Colombian singer Karol G made her fourth appearance with Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido, released on Just Dance+ as part of the Fiesta Latina song pack.

Manuel Turizo[]

Colombian singer Manuel Turizo made his series debut with La Bachata, also released as part of the Fiesta Latina song pack.

Nedra Talley (The Ronettes)[]

The Ronettes made their series debut last year with the holiday classic Sleigh Ride. Member Nedra Talley is of mixed black, Native American, Irish, and Puerto Rican descent. The song is covered by Nicky Gonzalez, who previously covered Let It Go for the game.

Shakira[]

Shakira returned last year with Whenever, Wherever. She also appeared in the Fiesta Latina song pack with Soltera.
