"Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" by Wham! is featured on Just Dance 2, Just Dance Unlimited, Just Dance Now, and 舞力无限. The song was also planned to be on Just Dance: Greatest Hits and Just Dance: Best Of, but was scrapped for unknown reasons. The song can be also found in the Just Dance+ files.
The song also has an alternate routine from The Emoji Movie on Just Dance Unlimited and Just Dance Now.
Appearance of the Dancer[]
Original[]
The dancer is a man with a hot pink mullet and hot pink sunglasses. He wears a mint green v-neck cardigan with two shiny buttons over a hot pink shirt, a hot pink and white cow print scarf, hot pink and sky blue striped baseball shorts, hot pink socks, and white Vans shoes with a green checkered pattern on the front. He also wears a hot pink wristband, and a dodger blue glove. His outline is sky blue.
In the beginning of the routine, the coach was formed by bubbles of the same colors as the coach’s outfit, and in the end, the coach disintegrate back to bubbles.
During the intro of the song, the dancer changes color scheme a few times when there's a finger snap: the hot pink parts turn purple and the green parts change to a lime green color.
Remake[]
In the remake, his appearance is more realistic. His color scheme is slightly brighter, his glove is now bright turquoise, and the checkerboard pattern on his shoes is now clearly visible.
Background[]
Original[]
The routine takes place in front of a wall that is in a darker shade of green. It has cyan baseball lights, yellow paint splat, darker teal lines on the down right, and two big lines in gradients of pink and red on the upper middle. The floor is reflective and dark teal and pink lines appear and disappear on the floor in most parts. Paint splatters and marks of different colors are seen briefly.
Remake[]
In the remake, the background looks more detailed and animated. Underneath the pink lines, there is a repeats of the word GO. The paints splatters and marks appeared a bit longer, and most of the elements now light up cyan and follow the beat of the song, while the green wall has intermittent lights. The floor is slightly blurry and the lines are removed. During the Gold Moves and the bridge, a spotlight illuminates the coach from above.
Gold Moves[]
There are 2 Gold Moves in this routine, both of which are the same:
Both Gold Moves: Raise both of your hands while rotating your hips.

Trivia[]
General[]
- Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go is the first song by Wham! in the series.
- Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go is the second song to have an Alternate based off of a pop culture promotion, after Chiwawa.
- However, this is the first to be based off a full motion picture and not a straight-to TV series of movies.
- It is also the fifth song in the Just Dance series to have an Alternate routine that is available in a different game from the original one, after Blurred Lines, We No Speak Americano, Turn Up the Love, and Chiwawa.
- Among these songs, Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go has the longest gap record of games between its original routine (Just Dance 2) and its Alternate (Just Dance Unlimited).

- On Just Dance 2, the pictogram arrow beats at 82 BPM; in Just Dance Unlimited, it beats at a faster rate of 164 BPM.
- The menu icon for both routines can be found in the offline game files of Just Dance 2018.[citation needed]
Routine[]
- The dancer’s left arm has a displacement at the start of the second pre-chorus: instead of stretching both arms out, he only stretches his right one.
- He also does a mistake during the line "Take me dancing tonight": instead of putting his left hand on his hip, he keeps it open.
- Unused assets for Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go were found in the files of Just Dance: Greatest Hits.
- The menu square from these assets was reused as the cover_online file in the Just Dance Unlimited remake, causing it to be used in the song selection menu instead of the remade square. This also occurs with I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’.
- However, the remade square is used in Just Dance Now.
- The menu square from these assets was reused as the cover_online file in the Just Dance Unlimited remake, causing it to be used in the song selection menu instead of the remade square. This also occurs with I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’.
- The buttons on the coach’s cardigan are missing in menu assets for Just Dance: Greatest Hits/Best Of, as well as the remake.
- In Take On Me’s Mashup, Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go has a Gold Move that was not part of the original routine.
- On Just Dance 4 Mashups, the pictogram before the Gold Move has been remade.
- As opposed to other maps that received pictogram changes in Mashups and Party Master Mode, this pictogram is not reused in the remake.
- On Just Dance Unlimited, the album coach has the same fade effect that is applied on coach selection images. It is the second album coach in the series with said effect.
- Some pictograms for the remake have some editing errors.
- In three pictograms, there are black pixels between some parts of the arrows and the body.
- In two other pictograms, the colored part of the hit emblem is more pixelated.
- On Just Dance Unlimited, only the right-hand moves are counted, even on camera consoles.
- When Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go was added to Just Dance Unlimited, the avatar could be seen under the "Just Dance Unlimited Exclusives" section of the avatar selection menu instead of "Just Dance 2".
- A Beta pictogram can be found in the Just Dance Now files. It is mostly similar to its non-Beta counterpart, but its legs are closed.
- On Just Dance 2019, Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go is incorrectly placed in the "The 2010s Were Banging" playlist.
- However, the Alternate is appropriately placed in "The Epic 80s".
- The dancer's shoes are reused from Dare, though the checkerboard pattern is comparably less visible in-game.
