"WANNABE" (Alternate Version) is featured on Just Dance 2023 Edition, 舞力无限 and Just Dance VR. Officially, this routine is referred to as an alternate routine to WANNABE (Extreme Version), but, unlike its counterpart, does not have a caption in the game.
Appearance of the Dancer[]
The dancer is Rubika, P2 from the Extreme Version. Her appearance has been kept almost the same, except her color scheme is slightly more saturated and the facial specks are clearer.
Background[]
This section is a stub. You can help by adding to it.
Just Dance 2023 Edition[]
The background is similar to the Extreme Version, except only Rubika's comic page is shown in the opening. Rosaria and Eteria appear in the background in the verses and bridge.
Just Dance VR[]
The opening is simplified, and the entire routine takes place on the rooftop seen in the original background. Many of the 3D objects from the original background are also present and can also be seen floating by during the song.
Gold Moves[]
There are 3 Gold Moves in this routine. Gold Moves 1 and 2 are done consecutively:
Gold Move 1: Quickly put your hands down and violently shake your hips.
Gold Move 2: Continue shaking your hips and put your hands up.
Gold Move 3: Put both of your hands out as if you’re presenting something.

Routine[]
- Among all previews for alternate routines of Just Dance 2023 Edition, the previews of Wannabe (Alternate Version) and Dynamite are the only ones not to showcase the same parts of the songs as the ones heard in the previews of their counterparts. The preview for the main routine goes from the first chorus to the second verse, whereas the preview for the Alternate goes from the dancebreak to the final chorus.
- When Gold Move 2 occurs in the preview, the Gold Move effect is not displayed, but it remains audible.
- Wannabe (Alternate Version) is the seventeenth routine to feature Gold Moves that appear consecutively, after I Want You Back, Jump, Proud Mary, Should I Stay or Should I Go, Sympathy For The Devil (Fatboy Slim Remix), When I Grow Up, Funplex (CSS Remix) (on Just Dance 3), Fancy, William Tell Overture, This Is How We Do (Fanmade Version), Sax, Level Up, Waterval, Womanizer, and Sweet but Psycho.
- In the final chorus, the coach’s shadow makes the confetti on the ground disappear.
- The preview gameplay for Wannabe (Alternate Version) is the sixth to feature the ending of the routine, after those of It’s Not Unusual, Make It Shine, Je sais pas danser, Chantaje, and The Way I Are (Dance With Somebody).
- The routine can be spotted in the background of Can’t Stop the Feeling! (Danceverse Prince Version).
- The background silhouettes are reused from I Don’t Care.
- This song has multiple codenames in Just Dance VR, Wannabe and WannabeItzyALT[2].
