"Witch" by Apashe featuring Alina Pash is featured on Just Dance 2023 Edition and Just Dance Now. On the latter, it can only be played by purchasing the Power Jam song pack.
Appearance of the Dancer[]
The dancer is Night Swan. She is a sorceress with black hair tied in a thick bundle behind her back, with a flowing ponytail that reaches to her back. By the sides of her hair are pink streaks, with the thin streaks on her hair and thick streaks on her ponytail. On top of her head are three large, black sharp feathers in an arrow-shaped formation that goes behind her head, with a golden arrow-shaped crest at her forehead. She has large and sharp black eyeshadow, yellow eyes, two small pink feathers on her cheeks, and pink lips. She also wears a pair of four-pointed star-shaped earrings, with three hanging attachments on each earring.
She wears a long-sleeved leotard that has a large, zigzagged, and jagged cleavage and semi-opaque sleeves. The base of her leotard is styled after two large twisted black feathers, with pink streaks and midlines. The back of her leotard and her semi-opaque sleeves are purple, with thick dark purple lines in the middle sections of each body part. The sleeves also contain large twisted black feathers with pink streaks and midlines on the surfaces. On her lower back and sides of her abdomen is a thin golden and sharp embellishment, with two sharp ends by the left side and one sharp end by the right side. Around and behind her hips are black, pink and dark purple sharp feathers, with some slightly taller feathers trailing behind her back. She also wears a pair of black high heels with golden toe tips, with tall and thin black feathers protruding from various parts of her heels and reaching up above her knees. She also has large, sharp talons at the end of her fingers, with the left talons neon pink and the right talons rose gold. She exudes a large smoky outline, with the outer layer black and the thin inner layer pink.
Night Swan also wears a large, black open cloak with large, jagged ends on her massive sleeves and the trailing ends of her cloak. The jagged ends also contain pink edges. Her collar contains large, twisted black and pink feathers that protrude outwards. The inner linings of her coat also shows feather-like patterns. Loosely pinned on both open ends of her cloak are three 3-pointed sharp embellishments with two thin hanging golden chains, with the second chain having three hanging attachments. As the intro ends, she uses her magic to disintegrate her cloak, exposing her leotard.
Background[]
The routine takes place in the Swan Tower[4], within a spacious dark golden throne room where Night Swan is placed in the center of a circular platform that has black outer sections, which exudes black, smokey and twisted magical energies that also has pink highlights. The surface of the platform has a central hexagon and is surrounded by eight rhombus-shaped sections, each glowing pink section that lit up to the song's beat. Extending behind her and in the platform is a staircase, which leads to an elevated platform, where her throne awaits. Her throne is attached to a massive statue of a swan, with its wings spread to reveal detailed feathers. The outlines of the feathers also has a gradient pink glow in certain parts of the routine.
At the start of the routine, Night Swan sits on the throne, with Jack Rose standing next to her. As she steps down the staircase to the circular platform, she is accompanied by an army of black humanoid entities, with four of them (Lysara, P3 of I Like It, Liza Friday, and P2 of Temperature, whom she abducted at the end of Can’t Stop the Feeling!) serving as her backup dancers. These figures are shown to be black, with feather-like projections by the sides of their arms and a sharp projection at the top of their heads. Their foreheads also contain a pink beak-like crest and their backs also have a pink stylized feather imprint, with a neon pink glow in sync with the music’s flow.
The platform is surrounded by a large crowd of the entities, which would dance for Night Swan or march around in a circular motion. During the transition to the beat drop, sections of her throne room slowly rise up, revealing dimensional arches that leads to the backgrounds of Can’t Stop the Feeling!, I Like It, Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.), Physical, Rather Be, Sweet Sensation, Temperature, and other unidentified maps. The sides of the arches also exude black and purple twisted and smoky auras. More entities are seen marching out behind the statue and by the sides of the background in continuous columns, each of them marching to specific arches.
Gold Moves[]
There are 2 Gold Moves in this routine:
Gold Move 1: Put your arms and left leg out in an arabesque, like a swan.
Gold Move 2: With your arms forming an "S" shape (right as the bottom and left as the top), bend your elbows and knees as you lean to the left.

Trivia[]
General[]
- Witch and Majesty are the second and third songs by Apashe in the series.
- Witch is the second Ukrainian-language song in the series.
Routine[]
- Witch is the only map from Enter the Danceverses that is not represented in the promotional art of Just Dance 2023 Edition.
- Witch marks the first time Just Dance’s official Twitter account posted a "Coach of the Week" post before the respective routine was revealed.
- Danger! High Voltage and Witch were the first two maps from Just Dance 2023 Edition onwards to be released on Just Dance Now but not on 舞力无限.
- Since the now discontinued Just Dance 2016 song pack, they also mark the second time in the history of Just Dance a map in Just Dance Now can only be played through a separate purchase.
- The feathers of the costume were made using a 3D printer and were laser cut to the exact shape.[5]
- The routine has been recorded in more than one take, as shown by a glitchy transition that happens before the instrumental breakdown.[6]
- Jack Rose appears at the start of the routine next to Night Swan sitting down on her throne.
- The backgrounds of Can’t Stop the Feeling!, Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.), Rather Be, and Sweet Sensation can be seen through portals.
- Lysara, P3 of I Like It, Liza Friday, and P2 of Temperature appear with Night Swan between them, each appearing hypnotized.
- The first public builds of Just Dance 2023 Edition used a beta version of the routine, where there are no spotlights on the four hypnotized coaches, the soldiers surrounding the center stage never stop marching, and Mihaly is erroneously shown in the portal to Rather Be. This was fixed on November 21, 2022, upon the release of the Day 1 patch.
- The alias unlocked after playing the routine, "Ugly Duckling", is a reference to Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale of the same name, which narrates the story of a duckling who looks different from the others but ultimately grows up to be a beautiful swan.
- The routine appears in the background of Sunlight on a TV.
- It appears to be using a modded gameplay of the song, as it has Just Dance 2022 feedback icons.
- Two pictures of Night Swan (as seen in the menu assets and other promo images), alongside uncropped assets for Lose Yourself, were released as part of the Just Dance 2024 Edition assets pack posted by Ubisoft on EGI.[7]
