"Woof" by Sofi Tukker featuring Kah-Lo is featured on Just Dance 2024 Edition.
Appearance of the Dancers[]
The routine is performed by the same dancers from Wet Tennis, except they now wear disco themed outfits.
P1[]
P1 is Kaa’rik. He keeps the same facial and hair features as in Wet Tennis. He is dressed in a metallic suit with his chest exposed and metallic pants of the same color which have been cuffed by the legs. He pairs the outfit with silver suspenders over his shoulders and silver boots rather than tennis shoes. He is also accessorized with a chain around his neck and a bracelet on his left arm. His glove is now a sea foam green color.
P2[]
P2 is Masi’el. Her hair is now in a high ponytail without her hairband but her facial features have been kept the same. She wears a metallic silver dress which consists of a choker that has straps going down to the chest and a short skirt that is propped up. She also wears knee-high platform boots of the same color. Her glove is now a more vibrant red.
Background[]
The routine takes place in the Sport Space Station, the same spaceship from Wet Tennis. The floor now flashes various colors, similar to a dancefloor. The two round screens on the sides of the door at the beginning of the preview now show silhouettes of Kaa’rik and Masi’el.
During the chorus, the dancers are in a disco room with crowds of people, with coaches from previous songs appearing as holograms behind them.
In the bridge, the Sport Space Station's gravity module malfunctions and causes objects and liquids to float in the hallway while it glows amber. Along the way, pressurized cold streams of steam can be seen venting into the hallway.
Gold Moves[]
There are 2 Gold Moves in this routine:
Gold Move 1:
- P1: Switch place with P2, put your left hand on your hip and point right while shaking your hand.
- P2: Switch place with P1, squat slightly and point left while shaking your hand and pretending to make a call.
Gold Move 2: Raise your hands and cup your mouth with them before looking up and saying "woof".
Trivia[]
General[]
- Woof is the second song by Sofi Tukker in the series.
- It is also the second song by Kah-Lo in the series.
- Woof is the second licensed song unveiled through its preview gameplay in Just Dance 2024 Edition, following After Party.
- However, unlike After Party, Woof was created long before its inclusion in the game, as it was first performed by Sofi Tukker during a livestream on November 24, 2020.[1] This makes Woof the second song that was not created with the intent of being featured in the Just Dance series to have its preview gameplay released before the song itself was officially released, after Boom Boom.
- However, when the official release was teased in August 2024[4][5][6], the song had a completely different instrumental and structure, and the tempo was drastically slowed down. The song was officially released on August 23, 2024, and other noticeable differences include the English part of Sophie's verse at the beginning being cut, the lack of a bridge after Kah-Lo's verse and an additional verse by Sophie after the last chorus.

- In Just Dance 2024 Edition, Kah-Lo is credited in the song title rather than in the artist code string, making the title appear as "Woof (feat. Kah-Lo)".
- This is the second time this happens in the series, after You Make Me Feel... in Just Dance 4, and the third time including 百乐门Swing (Bailemen Swing) in 舞力无限.
- "B***h" and "buru" (from the line "Mo fe ṣe nkan buru sí e") are censored.
- There are a few misinterpretations that are present in the in-game lyrics:
- "All aboard, time for the bad ... check in" is misinterpreted as "All the boy, time for the bad ... check in".
- A redundant "and" has been added to the line "And I’ll be in the back".
- "I spent the summer locked down" is misinterpreted as "I spent the summer locked up".
- "Now I glow head to toe" is misinterpreted as "Now I go head to toe".
- Additionally, "you" is sometimes shortened as "u", and "hey" is always spelled in all caps.
Routine[]
- VDVRT, Goldie, Lysara, and the coaches from Con Altura and Runaway (U & I) appear in the background.
- In the Just Dance servers, there are beta menu assets where Masi’el’s glove is blue instead of red.
- This is also the case on the thumbnail for the preview gameplay.
- In early versions of the game, the coaches’ names were switched on the coach selection screen.
- As of October 24, 2023, this mistake has been fixed.
